Holiday Luncheons and Craft Demonstrations

For most of the year, we are able to offer luncheons only for groups of ten or more. However, from December 1-5 and 8-14 Madeline will again welcome "groups" as small as one to her "Gourmet Herbal Boardinghouse" luncheons. The meals are "gourmet" because Madeline is one heck of a cook, "herbal" because that's what we do for a living, and "boardinghouse" because you never know who'll be seated next to you. In addition to the lunch, there will be a 30-45 minute demonstration of quick and easy herbal holiday gift, entertaining, and decorating ideas.

These informal events take place in our home from noon to 2:30 p.m. You'll be greeted with outstanding appetizers, followed by soup, salad, main course, and dessert. Then, we'll gather in the living room for the demonstration session.

The food is superb as Madeline draws on her training in classical French cuisine, more than 30 years of experience hosting diplomatic dinners and receptions, and eight years as the chef at Willow Pond Farm. She combines the best of traditional American and classical French fare with both the delicate and robust flavors of herbs to produce dishes such as squash soup with sage, grilled rosemary chicken, chocolate-mint marquise with mint crème anglaise (to die for!).

The cost is $25.00 per person (due with reservation, please). Reservations (at least 48 hours in advance).

Register online now. Or reserve a spce by phone (717-642-6387) or by email (info@willowpondherbs.com). Seating is limited to 16.
