Pennsylvania Lavender Festival

Mark your calendars now! The fourth annual Pennsylvania Lavender Festival will be held June 17-19, 2005 at Willow Pond Farm.

This year's Festival was the most successful ever with nearly 3,000 attendees enjoying the "lavender experience" We even got covered on NPR's "All Things Considered"! The largest such event in the Eastern U.S., the Festival offers a wide range of activities for participants including tours of lavender fields and demonstration gardens, lectures and demonstrations by nationally known experts, "make-and-take" workshops, herbal cuisine, live music, children's corner, and cut-your-own lavender. Most of the Farm's two acres of lavender, as well as the demonstration gardens, will be in bloom offering a sensory feast. Under the Lavender Tent, we'll have about 75 varieties of certified organic lavender plants, fine lavender food and craft products, and hand-crafted products by regional artisans. A dozen juried artisans will be offering their own creations.
